    Policy & Terms of Service

     

    1. Agreement to Services

    By engaging in tax preparation services with First Stop Financial, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below.


    2. Responsibility for Tax Preparation Fees

    Our tax preparation fees are due at the time of service, regardless of whether you or your spouse owe a federal/government debt (offset), including but not limited to:

    • IRS tax debt
    • Child support
    • Student loans
    • Other federal/government obligations

    If your tax refund is reduced or withheld due to such an offset, you remain responsible for the full payment of our service fees.


    3. Payment Policy

    • Payment is required before filing your tax return unless other arrangements are made.
    • If payment is not received, First Stop Financial reserves the right to withhold services, refuse filing, or take appropriate collection actions.

    4. No Guarantee of Refund

    First Stop Financial provides tax preparation services based on the information provided by the client. We do not guarantee the amount of your tax refund, nor are we responsible for any adjustments, offsets, or withholdings by government agencies.


    5. Client Acknowledgment

    By proceeding with our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.


    First Stop Financial reserves the right to update or modify this policy at any time.

    If you run your business as a sole proprietorship, or as an LLC and you are the sole owner, we'll report your business income and expenses on Schedule C along with your personal income tax return. A business tax return reports your company's income, tax deductions, and tax payments, whether registered or not. You are responsible for filing your return annually with the IRS to calculate your business's tax liability. Your TaxPro will serve as your chosen tax advisor, helping you make tax planning decisions throughout the business year. We'll be able to provide tips that will keep you better organized with the tax information you collect saving you thousands!
